Hello from my room! Where I’ve been!! For a week straight!!!
Cabin fever aside, I know the COVID-19 pandemic has created a lot of panic in the world right now, and it’s scary to not know how long this will all last or what the coming days are going to look like. So many people have stressed the importance of social distancing for the time being to reduce the spread of the illness, and I’ll admit, I didn’t think it was that big a deal at first. After educating myself a little more on everything going on right now, though, I realized how much of a difference that can actually make. So, here I am, on day 7 of self-quarantine. Being an introvert, I never really need an excuse to stay home, but it feels a little different when staying home seems like the only option right now.
Although this is a dark time, I’ve really enjoyed seeing what everyone has been up to during their time at home, so I figured I’d share with you guys what I’m planning on doing while social distancing for the next couple of weeks. Trying to find the good in a not so great situation here. Maybe you guys might be able to draw some inspiration from this too. If not, no worries. Writing this blog post killed about 35 minutes for me so I’m fine.
This is what I have so far, but I’ll probably add to the list as I spend more time at home. I’m actually looking forward to having the time to do things I don’t typically prioritize or have the time to do as I ~socially distance~ myself. I know this pandemic is a big deal and I don’t want to downplay that at all, but I think we can all afford to see a little bit of a bright side in the midst of the chaos. I hope you guys are able to use your time at home to rest, get some things done and do more of what you love!
Let me know what you guys are up to while you’re social distancing! This is such a weird time, but I have faith that we’ll get through it. Let’s try to look for the good as much as possible.
